Location: Albany, WA. Relocation assistance may be offered.
Responsibilities
Manage plant operations to achieve business objectives and operational targets, maximizing growth and profitability.
Ensure concrete is supplied and delivered in accordance with schedules; maximise fleet utilization; oversee stock management and COD processes.
Ensure the plant operates in full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company policies.
Foster safety, strong teamwork, and high performance; provide effective day-to-day supervision of reports and contractors.
Manage forecasts, stock levels and KPIs with production staff; oversee R&M; expenditure and accurate P&L; reporting.
Ensure Preventative Maintenance is implemented and adhered to; optimize concrete truck fleet utilisation.
Assist in developing and implementing community engagement plans; build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients and suppliers.
About You / Qualifications
Credible experience in a similar role, preferably in the concrete, aggregates, or related heavy manufacturing sectors.
Effective problem solving and analysis skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
A strong safety focus.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced, physically active environment with variable hours based on customer orders.
