Overview
Matrix Education is hiring Maths Teachers to join us at our Chatswood, Epping, Hurstville or Parramatta campuses. This role is ideal for anyone who is a subject matter expert who can explain things clearly and is passionate about their area of expertise.
Base pay
A$60 - A$80 / hour + superannuation
Start Date: Immediate for training
What you'll do
* Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic term (all lesson materials and resources are prepared for you).
* Ongoing monitoring of student's academic progress through marking of short weekly quizzes.
* Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.
What you'll need
* A genuine passion for teaching.
* Previous experience teaching secondary Maths in a classroom setting.
* Extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5, and 6 Maths.
* Completed degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering or related discipline.
* Postgraduate studies in the above-listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
