Affinity Systems is seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Help Desk Level 1-2 Support professional to join our dynamic team. In this part time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and assistance for one of our clients (Coolibah Care) onsite in their facility in Mandurah, ensuring their IT systems and infrastructure remain reliable and efficient. You will have the support of Affinity Systems head office staff which will manage more complex tasks. Working hours will be Monday through Friday 9am to 3pm (30 hours).

Key responsibilities

* Provide onsite Level 1 / 2 support, physical troubleshooting and user assistance.
* Hands on tasks and support for residents and staff.
* Perform onsite testing, physical checks and support fixes.
* Assist with telephone handset setup, SIM handling, softphone basics.
* Deploy devices onsite, record changes, provide local support.
* Assist users with access to proprietary aged care systems / device level access.
* Provide basic troubleshooting with Nursecall call-bell system, physical checks, annunciators working, pendants, nursecall server equipment operational.
* Experience working with RMM software a benefit.
* General troubleshooting hardware and software issues including printers, copiers, scanners, routers, internet connections, mobile devices etc.


What we're looking for

* Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field.
* At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar IT Help Desk or IT support role.
* Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills across a range of hardware, software, and networking technologies.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently prioritise tasks.
* Proven experience in documenting support activities and maintaining detailed records.
* Enthusiasm for continuous learning and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
