Your new company
An established national construction company that prides itself on providing an inclusive and supportive team culture requires an experienced Foreman to work on a range of commercial fitout / refurbishment projects ranging from $1/50M.
Your new role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will oversee finishing trades, ensuring high-quality standards are met within project timelines. Your key duties include:
* Supervising all construction packages including detailed carpentry, electrical, plumbing and final pass trades.
* Managing subcontractors and conducting toolbox talks.
* Performing site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
* Assisting in the creation and implementation of short-term work schedules.
* Coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients and suppliers, to meet finishing specifications.
* Ensuring safety compliance in accordance with WHS standards.
What you'll need to succeed
* Ideally, a trade background but not essential.
* Ability to problem-solve and interpret detailed drawings.
* Strong communication skills and ability to motivate and lead tradespeople effectively.
