Job Description
Our hatching facility requires two diligent team members to assist with the daily operation of our egg production process. The successful candidates will be required to work in a cool, chilled environment as well as a general egg sorting area.
Coolroom Duties:
* Loading and transporting trollies of eggs within a controlled temperature environment
* Performing general cleaning tasks within the coolroom
Transfers Duties:
* Loading trays of eggs for sorting purposes
* Transporting trollies of eggs into incubation
* Performing general cleaning tasks within the egg transfer areas
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
* Physical fitness and stamina to handle repetitive manual handling tasks
* The ability to push full trollies of eggs safely and efficiently
* A willingness to work independently with minimal supervision
* Availability to work four days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) with no production on Wednesdays
Additional Requirements:
* No family members or household contacts working in poultry processing or farming
* No pet birds or pigs due to quarantine requirements
* Ability to remove any jewellery that cannot be removed during work hours
Key Skills:
* Good communication skills and the ability to pass a basic physical assessment
* Independent transportation to and from work
Remuneration
Salary: $****** PH plus penalties.
