Youth Development Professional
Everyday Independence seeks Youth Development Professionals to support adolescents and young adults with disabilities.
* Lead interdisciplinary teams in developing therapy packages that cater to individual needs.
* Utilize assessment and intervention skills to achieve goals in education, personal growth, social interaction, and work-life balance.
* Deliver therapy in various settings, including homes, schools, community centers, and workplaces.
* Hold meaningful conversations with participants and their supports, empowering them to develop healthy habits and routines.
* Foster relationships with participants and their families, providing dedicated support and guidance.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Youth Work, Social Work, Special Education, or Nursing).
* Minimum 12 months of experience working with youth aged 10-24.
* Strong communication skills, flexibility, and commitment to ongoing learning and development.
* Demonstrated experience working with people with disabilities, willingness to contribute to team goals and objectives.
* Australian driver's license, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and Working with Children's Check are required.
