The Opportunity
PWR is continuing to grow, and we are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Machining Assistant at our facility on the Gold Coast working a 3 day weekend, Fri-Sun.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality components. You will play an important part in supporting our machining and production teams, assisting with component preparation, deburring and polishing and quality assurance.
Our manufacturing divisions are fast-paced environments where attention to detail and consistency are key. While some tasks may be repetitive, they are essential to producing the high-performance products PWR is known for across automotive, motorsport and advanced technology industries.
This role would suit someone with a trade, mechanical or manufacturing background, or someone comfortable working with hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment in any capacity.
For example, maybe you're a mechanic, a nail technician, or someone who enjoys building things at home. You might enjoy engraving, woodworking, or creating jewellery as a hobby. Maybe you’ve worked in car detailing, panel beating, or bike repair or you might be someone who enjoys restoring cars, motorbikes, or furniture.
Friday - Sunday - 5am-5pm
Your Skills and Experience
* Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
* Ability to read and interpret documentation and basic detailed drawings.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and excellent attention to detail.
* Must be able to work unsupervised at times and effectively in a team environment.
* Must have the ability to sustain concentration during repetitive processes.
* More importantly, your positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to learn and flexibility is what makes you stand out
