Depending on location, the role can also be offered on a FIFO roster from Townsville or Brisbane with on-site accommodation provided.
Job Responsibilities
* Design civil construction components for permanent and temporary works.
* Liaise with the Construction Manager to improve processes and clarify design requirements.
* Ensure civil operations are executed efficiently and cost-effectively.
* Perform duties as a Quality Management Representative.
* Report daily progress, non-compliance issues, and work delays to the Construction Manager.
* Conduct regular inspections of job sites to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
* Actively monitor the work environment to identify and mitigate hazards.
* Assist with quality and safety audits.
* Implement technical and safety requirements for the project.
* Oversee and monitor daily quality control procedures.
* Track daily production and ensure adherence to cost and schedule targets.
* Actively contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of work practices.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* 1-2 years of experience in civil construction projects, preferably in a mining environment.
* Possession of a White Card.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, with intermediate to advanced skills.
