We are now recruiting for the position of **IT Service Design and Integration Specialist** to be based in our Melbourne office. As an IT Service Design and Integration Specialist the role is to support the globalization of IT infrastructure and end-user services based in our Melbourne office.
Responsibilities of this role include identifying, evaluating and documenting basic computing system requirements. Assisting in the design, build and test of delivery systems and components, as well as providing basic technical support for delivery systems components.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Working and cooperating with Boeing IT employees, including International and Enterprise Boeing staff to ensure that tasks & activities are coordinated in a timely and effective manner.
- There is an expectation to work with key business stakeholders to understand requirements and fulfil requests.
- Ensure appropriate detailed processes are followed to confirm efficient & effective delivery of IT operations.
- Ensuring that IT operations meet enterprise technical and governance standards.
- Support minor projects through to completion.
- Actively engage the various business representatives to understand their drivers and IT needs
- Understanding configuration standards and procedures of all IT Hardware and software both Server and Desktop.
- Evaluating PC and Networking hardware and Peripherals as part of a project team to carry out IT infrastructure upgrade and testing projects.
- Ensure that appropriate information is exchanged for the effective resolution of customer issues (that span IT groups) in an appropriate timeframe
- Provides and coordinates computing delivery systems configuration management
- Some travel and work outside of standard business hours will be required as we operate in a globally diverse team.
**What you might bring**:
- 5 years' experience in large complex IT organization, or commensurate skills and experience.
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions in a multi-site, distributed computing environment
- Project Management Certification and/or Demonstrable Experience desirable
- Business Analysis Certification and/or Demonstrable Experience desirable
- Formal IT education and training are desirable
- Contemporary IT infrastructure and end-user services knowledge/experience - Devsecops platforms, Agile, Cloud etc
- Written and Oral skills to develop and present business cases
- ITIL knowledge/experience
- Defence Security clearance to NEGATIVE VETTING 1 or above is desirable
**Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements and the ability to obtain NV1 clearance**
