Workforce International are currently seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist with proven hydraulic cylinder machining experience to join our client's busy Forrestfield workshop.
Hours: Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose, repair, and rebuild hydraulic systems in accordance with OEM standards
* Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes, mills, and associated machining equipment
* Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately
* Measure and inspect machined components to verify precision and compliance with specifications
* Maintain exceptional accuracy and quality across all machining tasks
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets and deadlines
* Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records of all work performed
* Provide feedback to support process enhancements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Adhere to all safety procedures and ensure a clean, organised work environment
This is a casual position with strong potential to convert to full-time for the right person.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
* Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of hydraulic cylinder machining
* Reliable, safety-focused and detail-oriented
* Ability to work Monday to Friday on a consistent roster
