IT Support Technician (Level 1.5 - Level 2)

We're looking for an IT Support Technician (Level 1.5 - Level 2) to join our Helpdesk team as the first line of support for our clients.

This role is ideal for someone with solid phone-based support experience who enjoys troubleshooting, managing tickets, and delivering great customer service in a fast-paced MSP environment.

Competitive salary: $55k – $80k + super (subject to experience)

The Role:

* You'll be taking calls, logging and managing tickets, remotely connecting to user machines, resolving issues where possible, and escalating to Level 2 when required. While this role is phone-heavy, it offers clear progression into Level 2 support for the right person.
* Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
* Respond to customer queries via email, or phone in a timely and professional manner, ensuring SLAs are met.
* Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
* Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
* Document internal procedures and troubleshooting steps.
* Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams as needed.
* Assist with project work as required.

Requirements:

* 2+ years' experience in a Helpdesk / IT Support role (MSP experience highly preferred)
* Impeccable communication/customer service skills, both written and verbal
* Experience using ConnectWise or Autotask ticketing systems
* Experience with ITGLUE for documentation
* A willingness to continuously acquire IT-related certifications every year, including but not limited to CompTIA, Microsoft, and Kaseya
* CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification. Highly advantageous
* Experience with Kaseya or other remote management tools
