Finance Officer Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Finance Officer.
Job Description:
The Finance Officer plays a key role in providing financial support to the organization. This involves working closely with various teams to ensure that all financial transactions are processed efficiently and effectively.
As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for managing customer queries related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and debt management. You will also develop and maintain relevant policy and procedural documentation, identify and implement process improvement initiatives, and provide assistance in the travel and credit cards area.
Additionally, you will be responsible for general ledger monitoring and clearing for month end, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Key responsibilities include:
* Backup for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable team leaders
* Manage customer queries via the helpdesk in relation to accounts payable, accounts receivable and debt management queries
* Develop and maintain relevant policy and procedural documentation
* Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
* Provide assistance in the travel and credit cards area
* General Ledger monitoring and clearing for month end
Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Baseline clearance (or ability to obtain quickly)
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong understanding of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions including debt management
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to learn new concepts quickly
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Capacity to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and adapting positively to change
* Experience using SAP
