About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Van Driver to join our team at the Seven Hills branch of City Electric Supply Pty Ltd. This is a full-time position, responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to our customers within the local area.
What you'll be doing
1. Driving a company van to transport and deliver goods to customer locations
2. Inspecting the vehicle before and after each shift to ensure it is in good working condition
3. Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery signatures
4. Providing excellent customer service and communicating with customers professionally
5. Loading and unloading of goods as required
6. Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and road traffic regulations
What we're looking for
1. A valid driver's license (minimum of 2 years' experience)
2. Experience in a similar delivery or van driving role
3. Solid organisational and time management skills to ensure efficient deliveries
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
5. A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to problem-solving
6. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
