About the role:

The Marketing Manager – Broker is part of the Marketing Team and supports the Senior Marketing Manager with the creation and execution of various marketing and communication initiatives, aimed at the Broker channel.

The role is responsible for promoting our product proposition via digital marketing and media, with an ongoing objective to increase Shift’s product and brand awareness in market.

Core to the role is:

Producing product marketing and communication material that educates our existing broker base with important product and platform information.Contributing to broker channel growth and broker activation initiatives, in step with sales strategies.Helping to execute marketing-owned items that form part of broader divisional plans, as needed.

To be successful in this role, you must be proactive, have a positive can-do attitude, and own the outcome. You are adaptable to changing business needs or priorities and collaborate well with internal and external specialists and stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Work in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager to help create and execute marketing plans and projects.Work closely with the Sales Team and provide marketing support to help them grow the business or retain existing brokers.Help develop sales enablement materials such as, but not limited to, internal FAQs, pitch packs and social media content.Work closely with the Product Management Team on key product, policy, and pricing changes, ensuring these items are communicated appropriately.Support the successful delivery of various go-to-market (GTM) plans or marketing campaigns that promote new platform features and product launches.Work closely with Marketing’s Events & Sponsorship Manager to help with the successful execution of events, when needed.Work closely with Marketing’s Brand & Creative team to ensure all marketing campaigns, external communications and GTM material are delivered in step with our brand identity.Help plan and execute digital & trade media marketing campaigns and liaise with external agencies and trade media partners.Support the implementation of automated communications and user journeys that aim to enhance the user experience and/or increase product utilisation.Regularly share campaign performance metrics, reporting and help provide regular updates to key stakeholders.Find ways to continuously improve how we deliver marketing initiatives as a team and how we work together.

Skills & Experience:

5+ years of B2B marketing and/or communications experience, preferably within financial services or the Broker industry.A keen eye and understanding for design excellence.Excellent project management and communication skills.Strong relationship building and stakeholder management.Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.The ability to get the best out of internal and external specialists and agencies.Proficiency in digital tools such as SharePoint and the Microsoft 365 suite, including some experience with Microsoft Copilot (or desire to upskill in AI tools).Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred but not essential).
