About The OpportunityHealth Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Construction and Safety Manager to champion safety and quality excellence across our major capital projects.
In this pivotal role, you will monitor construction safety and quality on designated projects, ensuring our integrated project teams maintain the highest standards in all construction activities.
As our Construction and Safety Manager, you will establish and communicate client WHS strategies, conduct regular site safety walks, review contractor documentation, and serve as the go-to expert for construction safety matters.
You will participate in WHS workshops, share lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement across our project portfolio, directly influencing how we deliver safe, quality outcomes for NSW communities.
This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse projects throughout NSW, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
This is a full-time ongoing role.
Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
About YouWe're looking for a construction safety professional with extensive experience in client-side delivery management and a proven track record of implementing WHS strategies across complex construction projects.
You will have deep knowledge of construction standards, regulations, and WHS principles, combined with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
