About The Opportunity

At PMHC every employee plays a part in ensuring we work together to achieve positive outcomes for our community. To help us achieve this we are seeking an experienced Back of House Coordinator to join our Glasshouse team.

This is a key leadership role within the Glasshouse, responsible for the day‐to‐day management of all back of house and technical operations across the theatre, gallery and event spaces. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Back of House Coordinator oversees lighting, audio, audiovisual/IT, staging and technical services, leads and develops technical staff, manages equipment and assets, and contributes to planning, budgeting and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role plays a critical part in supporting event delivery through the coordination of bump‐ins and bump‐outs, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and providing expert technical advice to support a diverse program of performances, exhibitions and events, delivering a safe, high‐quality experience for artists, clients and audiences.

To Succeed In The Role You Will Have
* Extensive experience in technical/production management within the arts, entertainment or events industry
* Strong technical knowledge across lighting, audio, audiovisual/IT, staging and rigging in a modern venue environment
* Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and coordinating service delivery in a fast‐paced setting
* Demonstrated experience in budgeting, asset and financial management, including procurement and lifecycle planning
* Excellent communication, analytical and planning skills, with a strong understanding of WHS, compliance and regulatory requirements
On a Typical Day, This Role Will
* Coordinate and oversee all back of house and technical operations to ensure high‐quality event delivery
* Manage the allocation, setup and availability of technical equipment and services across all Glasshouse spaces
* Lead, train and support technical staff to ensure safe, efficient and professional service delivery
* Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, traffic control requirements and Council policies, reporting hazards and incidents as required
* Provide advice and data to support budgeting, asset planning, process improvement and the adoption of new technologies
Remuneration And Benefits

Employment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per week

Salary (exclusive of super): Starting in the range of $97,130 to $108,719 depending on skills and experience

Opportunity for performance‐based increase available after 12 months.
