What You'll Be Doing
Lead and co-ordinate the nursing and multi-disciplinary care team at the ward or unit level.
Monitor and manage the business and management functions and processes of the ward or unit.
Ensure all staff practice in accordance with AHPRA regulations, the code of conduct and the core values of NSW Health.
Demonstrate broad nursing/midwifery experience and knowledge.
Place patients at the centre of service delivery.
Show professional integrity, ethical conduct, accountability, advocacy and enable others.
Build collaborative relationships and effective teamwork.

Qualifications & Experience
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and current NSW driver's licence.
Relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience with proven commitment to professional development.
A demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management and delivery of health care services.
Proven ability in innovative clinical service delivery, harm minimisation and practice development.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills that enable engagement, enabling and team management.
Proven ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture and articulate and achieve a vision for mental health nursing services.
Recent clinical experience in mental health service provision in acute care services and knowledge of recovery framework.
