What You'll Do
As a Lead Civil Engineer in our Energy team based in Brisbane, you'll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineers solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
You will provide civil engineering leadership across a portfolio of Wind, Solar and BESS projects in Queensland, overseeing delivery from a civil engineering lens. You'll guide the planning, design, and coordination of civil infrastructure for renewable projects—including access roads, pavements, hardstands, foundation interfaces, and drainage.
* Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery
* Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges
* Deliver high‐quality advice that informs decisions
* Coordinate civil works with key energy assets (wind, solar, BESS, substations)
* Support construction planning and delivery with practical, buildable solutions
* Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions
* Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance
What You'll Bring
* Relevant engineering qualifications and experience in Civil Engineering
* Demonstrated experience delivering civil design for renewable energy projects, particularly Wind, Solar and/or BESS developments.
* Strong expertise in civil infrastructure design, including access roads, pavements, hardstands, earthworks, and drainage.
* Sound understanding of relevant Australian standards, design guidelines and client requirements in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
* A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes
* Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
* The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
