About The Role
Grampians Health Stawell has 2 operating theatres supported by administration officers. We provide a wide range of surgical services requiring administrative support. We are seeking applications for an elective admissions clerk to join our team at Grampians Health Stawell working in the Preadmission Department.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend to all elective administration duties including ensuring patient files are complete.
* Enter patient theatre booking data with accurate detail on patient management system.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
* Proven computer literacy and customer service experience.
Skills & Experience
Applicants with previous medical administration employment are desirable.
* Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to escalate concerns.
* Proven ability to problem solve and prioritise workload.
* Previous knowledge of Microsoft Office, Opal, patient management systems is favourable but not essential.
