Click here for details and contact the enquires person for further information. About the role Lead and provide expert clinical nursing in CaFHS, supporting children (up to school age) and families. Deliver programs, mentor staff, coordinate resources, and drive quality, safe, person-centred care across teams. This position supports the Country North CaFHS team and is required to be based at one of the Consolidated Service Sites (CSS) at either Port Lincoln or Whyalla. Ability to travel across the Country North region is essential. Key duties of the role Provide expert nursing care and clinical decision making for children and families Lead, mentor and support staff, students and less experienced nurses Coordinate programs, resources and clinical initiatives to improve outcomes Contribute to policy, quality improvement, risk management and research Promote positive, collaborative and trauma-informed care across teams Skills and Experience Registered Nurse or Nurse/Midwife with current AHPRA registration Minimum 3 years post-registration clinical experience Proven leadership, mentoring and change management skills Experience with complex family/child health issues (e.g., trauma, DV, mental health) Knowledge of evidence-based practice, risk management, and child/family development Enquiries can be directed to Nicole Branch – Regional Team Manager, Country North, 0466 860 536 or Nicole.Branch@sa.gov.au Want to learn more about career opportunities at WCHN?
