Green Light Australia are partnering with a leading company to engage a DevOps Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of secure software factory platforms. This role is critical in enabling development teams to deliver software efficiently, securely, and at scale within a controlled and compliant environment.

* Duration: 6 months assignment (possibility of extension)
* NV2 Clearance Mandatory

* Location: Adelaide (Mawson Lakes)
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of software factory platforms.
* Develop platform architecture, associated documentation, and support physical deployment activities.
* Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes/K3s clusters.
* Install, configure, and maintain software services such as Jira, Confluence, and Big Bang.
* Manage and maintain servers, workstations, and edge devices running RHEL and Windows environments.
* Create, maintain, and manage system images and hardened images in line with security standards.
* Perform testing, validation, and verification of deployed services to ensure reliability and compliance.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and/or Python.
* Support Service Desk operations, providing assistance for DevOps and Platform Engineering‐related issues.
* Provision, configure, and manage Azure cloud resources.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to ensure secure and efficient delivery pipelines.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, practices, and culture.
* Proven experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker or Podman.
* Solid experience working with RHEL/Linux environments.
* Hands‐on experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience with Configuration‐as‐Code tools (e.g., Ansible).
* Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation.
* Demonstrated ability to manage infrastructure and deployments in secure environments.
* Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
