Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a high-performing team in a dynamic banking environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing businesses with full revenue and expense accountability, as well as demonstrated leadership in high-performing teams within financial services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing local business strategy to optimise financial, customer, and risk outcomes. They will also provide clear leadership to foster a positive team culture, build strong relationships with key customers and community influencers, and manage revenue and expenses while ensuring compliance with risk and operational standards.
In addition, the role will involve leading initiatives to reduce bad debts, manage credit risk, and improve asset quality. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in similar roles and will possess excellent strategic thinking, sales and product knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A track record of banking experience across business, private, corporate, credit, or specialised sectors
* Proven track record managing businesses with full revenue and expense accountability
* Demonstrated leadership in high-performing teams within financial services
* Ability to develop and coach reports to differentiate market
* Strong strategic thinking, sales and product knowledge
* Pursuit to lead change and drive innovation
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance or commerce; postgraduate qualifications are a plus
