Reporting in to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities include:
- Supervise a team of accounts payable professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise the end-to-end accounts payable process, identifying and implementing process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyse accounts payable reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.

- Proven experience in accounts payable, with a focus on leadership and supervision.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment cycles, and vendor management.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems such as AS400.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong vendor relationships.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
