We're on the hunt for a Announcer/Operations Assistant to join our HIT team based in Hobart.
The Hit Network is Australias biggest radio network which entertains over 4.8 million Aussie radio listeners across B105, 2Day, The Fox, SAFM, MIX, 41 Hit stations plus DAB+ stations. Home to popular personalities including Fifi Box, Ed Kavalee, Dave Hughes, Carrie Bickmore, Tommy Little & Erin Molan.

As our newest Hit Announcer/Operations Assistant based in Hobart you will be working closely with the content director in creating engaging and dynamic radio. You will be responsible for ensuring the station's strategic objectives are achieved through excellent local communication, effective tactical planning and execution that makes you stand out. In addition, you will play a key supporting role off-air through the provision of operational administration.
**Experience we're looking for**:
- The ability to deliver outstanding on-air shifts at a commercial level.
- Operational skills and awareness, with relevant experience.
- A genuine passion for Hit music that will resonate with our Hobart audience.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of CRA's Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards.
- Competence with commercial radio music scheduling experience.
- Experience with GSelector and Zetta playout systems.
- A genuine passion for Hit music that will resonate with the network audience.
- Have the ability to translate pop culture, localism or topically into a fast-paced hit music shift.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a drive to go above and beyond in your role
