About the Centre:
The Eastbrooke Ambrose Family Medical Centre is a one-stop Health Hub facility offering a comprehensive range of on-site health and medical facilities.
About the Opportunity:
You will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and managing the overall financial performance of the centre. You will also be responsible for maintaining sterilization, infection control standards, and stock control, as well as patient management and general administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a high-performing team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
* Assist with overall financial performance of the centre
* Maintain sterilisation, infection control standards and stock control
* Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
* General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps
* Proactively market the centre to drive patient numbers
* Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all centre staff
You will be:
* Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday
* Previous medical experience desirable but we also welcome applications from successful managers from other industries
* Prior business and people management experience essential
* Proven track record of strong organisational skills, administrative and time management
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
* Understanding how to generate income and control costs
* Able to face into difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise
* Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including doctors, patients, and your centre team
* Experienced in comprehending and managing the P&L for the centre
