Regional Sales Director Job Description
This role entails leading sales efforts for a specific geographic region, driving growth and expansion of existing business relationships, and securing new opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of success in networking and/or security sales. They must possess strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to influence and sell at various levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive direct sales of solutions within an assigned territory and named accounts.
* Achieve or exceed sales targets by growing existing business and securing new opportunities.
* Develop and execute strategic account plans and territory coverage strategies.
* Maintain accurate records and pipeline activity in CRM software.
* Leverage internal and external data sources to prioritize and plan sales efforts.
* Engage new and existing customers to identify opportunities, deliver value-driven solutions, and close incremental business.
* Bld strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and internal teams.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in direct sales, particularly in networking, cybersecurity, or related fields.
* Able to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
* Proficient in using CRM software; highly disciplined in pipeline management and forecasting.
* A degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
