The Service Director – Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, inclusive, high‑quality and compliant OSHC services across multiple sites. The role focuses on child safety, educational quality, workforce capability, financial sustainability, and strong partnerships with families, schools and regulators.
Working in close partnership with the Operations Manager – OSHC, the Service Director translates organisational strategy into effective operational delivery and fosters a positive, child‑safe and high‑performing service culture.
Service location / travel requirements - We are currently recruiting for a service in Taylor (North Canberra), with potential movement to other sites as operationally required. This role will undertake split shifts as agreed with the Operations Manager and may require travel across Canberra to support operational needs.

* Ensure child safety, wellbeing, inclusion and regulatory compliance always.
* Provide educational leadership aligned with My Time, Our Place and quality improvement expectations.
* Recruit, develop and support capable, high‑performing educators and leadership teams.
* Foster a positive, inclusive and psychologically safe workplace culture.
* Oversee staffing, enrolments, resources and budgets to ensure sustainable service delivery.
