Full-time. 
$55,000 to $75,000 p.a. (depending on experience) + superannuation + bonuses. 
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Legal Assistant / Receptionist to join our team.

About the role 
This role will see you providing reception and legal administration support to the lawyers in our firm. 
The successful candidate will: 
- Identify problems, and quickly solve them. 
- Have strong attention to detail. 
- Be a clear and professional communicator. 
- Engage with our supportive culture. 
Key responsibilities: 
- Answer the phone, take messages, schedule meetings and appointments. 
- Prepare and maintain the office daily for employees and guests, including ordering office supplies. 
- Take new client enquiries, manage new client intake, and creation of new client files. 
- Client file management, including electronic filing of documents. 
- Diarise and manage important dates (including client appointments and debtor payments). 
- Prepare and send invoices, follow up payment of accounts, make office payments. 
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including checking PO Box and make urgent deliveries and collections. 
- Family law legal assistant support as required, including e-lodgement of Court forms, type dictation, compile Court briefs and prepare disclosure. 
- Executive receptionist/assistant/administrative support generally. 
Key selection criteria: 
- Experience in a similar role with family law experience preferred 
- Personal attitude: 
- A common sense problem-solver that demonstrates initiative. 
- A positive, professional, and friendly approach. 
- Work well with others and engage with our supportive team culture.

Technical skills 
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. 
- Proficient in relevant technology. 
- Strong organisational and time management skills. 
What we offer 
Salary of $55,000 to $75,000 per annum, depending on experience. 
Plus, superannuation. 
Incentive (bonus) package tied to the team and individual performance.
