Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain relationships within the Paccar franchise and dealer network, advocating with the distributor on behalf of the dealership and providing guidance aimed at improving the brand and franchise.
* Develop strong "hands on" relationships with key customers
* Lead, motivate and support a large team within a demanding environment
* Foster a positive and productive work environment
* Champion a positive and proactive safety culture within the team
* Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
* Manage and monitor budgets, financial records and inventory levels
* Develop and implement business strategies to achieve profitability and customer satisfaction targets
* Ensure compliance with company policy and Hallam Truck Centre operational guidelines
* Ensure regular staff performance reviews are conducted and training & development provided as appropriate
What we are looking for
* An experienced and professional Business Manager with a track record of successfully operating a business with a sound understanding of the heavy trucking industry
* Previous experience in a senior management role would be an advantage
* Demonstrated experience managing a team of senior leaders
* A driven leader with a strong commitment to building a positive team culture & engagement
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* High level of professionalism and business acumen
* Excellent negotiation and people management skills
* Ability to build sound relationships
