Treasury Accountant Job Description
The Treasury Accountant is responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of the treasury function. This includes aspects of group reporting, fixed asset accounting, reconciliations, and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Adhere to Group accounting policies and procedures
* Demonstrate proficiency in using Oracle ERP and provide support to Finance team members
* Perform daily bank reconciliation
* Prepare weekly cash flow forecasting reported to Head of Finance
* Produce monthly cash flow reporting for ELT
* Work with AR to track and reconcile debt factoring
* Calculate and organize weekly repayment of debt factoring
* Ensure timely treasury pack completion within Saphir
* Assist in addressing any queries from Group regarding cash flow and debt factoring
* Understand fixed asset costs and accumulated depreciation to identify and explain margin variances
* Maintain fixed asset register (FAR)
* Use Fusion software to identify disposals
Requirements:
* Demonstrated accounting experience
* Degree qualified
* CPA or CA qualified or nearing completion
* Able to summarize complex data and provide meaningful analysis
* Attention to detail
* Advanced Excel skills
