Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tilt Tray Tow Truck Driver to join the team at Boulder Parts & Towing in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. This full-time role is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of vehicles using a tilt tray tow truck.
What you'll be doing
* Operate a tilt tray tow truck to transport a variety of vehicles, including cars, light commercial vehicles and heavy machinery
* Transport vehicles from remote areas and to Perth on a regular basis
* Load and secure vehicles onto the tilt tray using appropriate equipment and techniques
* Deliver vehicles to designated locations, maintaining a high level of customer service
* Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the tow truck to ensure roadworthiness
* Maintain accurate records of jobs completed, including time, location and vehicle details
* Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies and procedures
What we're looking for
* A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence and previous experience operating a tilt tray tow truck
* Strong knowledge of vehicle loading and securing techniques to ensure safe transportation
* Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe driving practices
* Good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
* A positive attitude and the willingness to be a team player
* Permanent residency or Australian citizenship required for this position
