Key Responsibilities
* Working under the supervision of an AHPRA registered Podiatrist, you will assist with routine foot hygiene, such as cleaning and moisturizing.
* Trim non-pathological nails with nail clippers and file edges using a file.
* File dry skin / callus using file or foot dresser.
* Provide basic advice on footwear.
* Recognise when to refer to supervising podiatrist or facility staff.
* Document observations and interventions.
* Sterilise instruments.
What You'll Need
* Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and willingness to complete podiatry-specific accredited training (provided by Healthcare Australia Education).
* Full working rights in Australia.
* Driver's Licence and car.
* National NDIS Worker Screening Check (with online NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety and You" certificate).
* COVID vaccinations and booster.
