About the Student Administration Services
Student Administration Services (SAS) provides support across the student and teaching lifecycles, from enrolments to graduation. Defined by two interconnected levels of service: the College SAS teams and the University-wide SAS teams, work collaboratively to deliver simple, timely, efficient, and innovative student administration services and advice to both students and staff.
About the Role
Flinders University is seeking Examination Invigilators to supervise students undertaking online or face-to-face examinations. This is a rewarding casual opportunity to play a key role in students’ academic journey, while gaining desirable experience within higher education.
As an Examination Invigilator, you will:
- Prepare the examination venue and work area.
- Issue examination papers, collect attendance slips and compile completed examination papers.
- Document and report incidents, such as misconduct, in consultation with the Chief Invigilator.
About You
As an Examination Invigilator, you will be a clear communicator who is dedicated to providing good customer service to staff and students. Your high attention to detail and accuracy will allow you to successful invigilate and supervise students.
To be successful in this position, you will also demonstrate:
- Prior knowledge or experience in invigilating examinations
- Basic to routine computer knowledge.
- An awareness of manual handling principles

- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and problem-solving skills.
