Blufair is a QBCC licensed residential builder looking to grow their team in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane and Ipswich. We are connected to Kerdic Homes, a successful Brisbane builder with 35+ years' experience.
We are looking for a full-time leading hand carpenter to join our small team as we grow into the new year with exciting opportunities for the right candidate.
If you are a leading hand carpenter looking to gain further experience before moving into supervisory roles this position is for you. If you love your rugby league this position is for you.
What you will be working on:
· New Residential Builds
· Bathroom Renovations
· Timber Frames for project builders
· Steel Frames for project builders
· Decks
· Pergolas
· Cladding
Must Have:
· Cert III in Carpentry
· Construction White Card
· Minimum 2 years of qualified carpentry experience
· Current Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle
· Own tools
· Right to work in Australia
· Desire to work towards Supervisors Licence – Cert IV
Key Skills:
· Reading and interpreting plans
· Ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with WHS regulations
· Working independently on jobs sites
· Strong understanding of Australian building standards and practices
Salary
$50-$55/hour Full Time + Super
