The Ellen Brockman Integrated Catchment Group (EBICG) is seeking a highly motivated person with skills in WA Natural Resource Management projects especially linked to the implementation of waterway restoration projects and community based landcare activities.
The Community Rivercare Officer will work with community groups to develop and implement on-ground restoration projects in waterways through a community grants process and will be responsible for the development and implementation of two Iconic projects within the Swan Canning Catchment. This position will work in collaboration with staff from the Rivers and Estuaries Branch of the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.
The position requires Natural Resource Management skills particularly in waterway restoration, an ability to work and collaborate with community environment groups, local and state government. Ability in writing grant applications, manage projects, work with contractors and administer and report on grants would be highly desirable.
1. The position attracts a salary package of $57,096 to $66,612 including salary in the range of $46,800 to $54,600 pro rata per annum and superannuation, dependent upon experience.
