Established in Geelong in 1985, STQC Consulting is a Land Development Consultancy specialising in Town Planning, Land Surveying, and Geotechnical Engineering. We work closely with clients, developers, councils, and consultants to deliver practical and high‑quality outcomes across a range of projects.
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Administration/Accounts Officer to support our Geelong office on a part‑time basis.
About the Role
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping administration and accounts running smoothly. You will report to the Operations Manager and will work closely with our administration, project teams and external stakeholders, supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Invoice preparation and payment processing
* Answering phone and email enquiries
* Supporting project and team administration as required, including preparation of correspondence, fee proposals, data entry and file maintenance
* Accounts payable and receivable processing
* Bank transactions and reconciliations
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an administration and/or accounts role
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
* Confident communicator with a professional approach
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
* Experience using Xero accounting software
* Previous experience in a similar field advantageous
