Key Responsibilities
* Stock Optimisation: Develop and implement stock level strategies to maximise sales, reduce excess inventory, and support seasonal or promotional activity.
* Planning Tools: Design and manage planning tools to accurately forecast demand based on historical trends and market changes.
* Performance Analysis: Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, profit, markdowns, and stock turns to inform decision-making and drive business performance.
* Trend Analysis: Track and report on product trends, using data insights to make recommendations that enhance sales and reduce markdowns.
* Forecasting: Conduct ongoing sales and profit forecasting to support business performance and margin improvement initiatives.
* Promotional Strategies: Develop and evaluate promotional and markdown strategies to enhance revenue, margin, and inventory efficiency.
* Merchandise Planning: Build well-balanced merchandise assortments aligned with customer demand, style trends, and seasonal factors.
* Collaboration: Partner closely with Buying, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Finance teams to align strategies and deliver business goals.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and support planning team members, promoting a collaborative and performance-driven planning culture.
* Market Insight: Monitor market and competitor activity, using insights to guide planning and merchandise strategy.
