Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our Timetabling and Scheduling Support Team as a System Administrator. This role is central to maintaining and optimising our recent TimeEdit platform, which underpins academic scheduling, room bookings, and teaching resource allocation across CIT.
You will provide technical support, manage system configurations, and ensure data integrity for Course Reference Numbers (CRNs). Working closely with stakeholders across CIT, you’ll help deliver accurate timetables and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Eligibility/Other requirements:
- Experience with timetabling and course creation systems in a tertiary learning environment, such as Banner and TimeEdit, is highly desirable but not essential.
- Experience working in an ICT tiered service delivery model is desirable.
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 01 December 2025 until 30 May 2026 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
This position is based at a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
