Up to $603,633 p.a. (L25–L27) or Up to $552,485 p.a. (L18–L24)
* Base salary: $251,527–$266,677 p.a. (L25–L27) / $210,332–$244,313 p.a. (L18–L24)

Role
As a Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine, you will:
* Work alongside the Clinical Director to deliver high‑quality emergency care to the Mackay community.
* Provide senior clinical leadership across a busy, mixed‑acuity Emergency Department.
* Supervise, mentor and support junior doctors, trainees and medical students.
* Participate actively in patient safety, quality improvement, audit and research activities.
* Support service planning and contribute to the development of emergency care models.

Mackay Base Hospital is a modern, fully digital regional referral hospital and the major acute facility for the Mackay Isaac Whitsunday region.
