Our client, Australian Rotary Health (ARH) is one of the largest independent funders of mental health research within Australia. In addition to mental health research, ARH also provides funding into a broad range of general health areas, providing scholarships for rural medical and nursing students and Indigenous students. ARH has a broad vision to improve the health and wellbeing of all Australians in keeping with the values of Rotarians, nationally.
ARH’s current mental health research focus is on 0 – 12-year-old children.
The exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to succeed the current incumbent who is retiring after many years of excellent service.
We are seeking an inspirational leader with outstanding interpersonal communication skills in speech and writing, capable of leading ARH through its next exciting stage of development and working closely with a dedicated and high-profile Board. With a clear focus on implementation of ARH’s Strategic Plan 2023-26, fundraising and friend-raising initiatives and identification of new revenue streams for the business, the appointee will lead a small and highly effective team in delivering outstanding services to the Australian community, through its ongoing support of vital research. A track record in dealing with philanthropists, corporate organisations and other potential donors would be very well regarded among the skill and experience set of the successful appointee.
