Role Summary
We are seeking a Workforce Productivity Officer to strengthen how our workforce is planned, recruited, and utilised across the organisation.
This role will ensure rosters are efficient, award-compliant, and aligned with service demand, while also supporting timely recruitment, vacancy management, and the reduction of overtime and agency reliance.
Responsibilities and Duties
Monitoring workforce utilisation, staffing ratios, and roster efficiency
Ensuring rosters comply with relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and legislation
Identifying opportunities to reduce overtime and agency usage
Supporting proactive management of staff leave balances and availability
Producing workforce reports and insights to guide operational and financial decisions
Partnering with Recruitment and Operations to ensure timely filling of vacancies and workforce gaps
Managing a pool of floating staff and approval agency invoices
Assisting with the implementation of workforce optimisation initiatives, systems, and controls
This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and is located out of our central office in Belmont.
About You
You are analytical, organised, and experienced in workforce or rostering environments.
You understand the importance of both compliance and productivity and are confident working with managers and recruitment teams to strengthen workforce performance.
You Will Possess
Experience in workforce planning, rostering, or operational workforce analysis
Strong knowledge of award compliance within aged care and disability services
Excellent reporting and data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
Experience in payroll is highly desirable, although not essential
