About the opportunity
As our Retail Customer Service Officer, you'll play an important part in helping Australians service their own businesses, keeping millions of people connected and building community resilience. Every year, around one million customers visit our Australia Post Offices. It's our retail teams who ensure every experience is positive. They are supported by a welcoming team, ongoing training, and career development opportunities.
* Rostered shifts between Monday – Friday | 12:00pm – 5:00pm
* Pay Rate $27.48, increasing to $29.37 after 3 months
* + 12% Superannuation
* Occasional travel between Fremantle, Bibra Lake, and Kwinana
You'll be:
* Performing customer sales and service transactions
* Managing high-value transactions accurately (handling cash, cheques, credit cards, EFTPOS)
* Conducting identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews
* Promoting products and services through up-selling and cross-selling
* Assisting with mail lodgements and related costs
* Building rewarding customer relationships
* Assisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking
About you
You are friendly, enthusiastic, reliable, and team-oriented. You prioritize customer service and community impact. You should also:
* Have experience in customer service and/or cash handling
* Be able to lift up to 16kg regularly and stand during shifts
