Our Information Technology team is seeking applications for the newly created role of Manager IT Operations.
In this role, you will lead a team of 8 and be responsible for the daily operations of servers, networks, and cybersecurity, ensuring all IT services are robust and secure.Reporting to the Head of Information Technology, you will play a key role in supporting IGO's objectives by maintaining high availability and security of critical IT systems.Key Responsibilities include:IT Infrastructure Management: Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure, proactively resolving potential issues.Cybersecurity Management: Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to protect IT systems and data.Stay informed of emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies to keep security measures effective.Service Delivery Management: Oversee IT service delivery to end-users, ensuring service levels are met.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service.Collaboration: Work with the broader IT team and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective service delivery.Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with key technology vendors and service providers.Your ExperienceAlong with strong leadership, mentorship, and influence skills, you should have excellent stakeholder management abilities and the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Significant experience managing IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Service Delivery roles.Experience with IT infrastructure technologies, including servers (Dell, Pure, Hyper-V), networks (CISCO), storage, and cloud services (DC & MS).Best practices in Cybersecurity, including implementing and managing security systems.Technical certifications such as Microsoft Systems Engineer or CISCO network professional.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Recent National Police Clearance.Apply TodaySubmit your up-to-date resume to express interest.
