Finance Business Partner wanted by major Federal Govt Agency for a 12 month contract located in Parramatta

Join this large Federal Government organisation who have a local finance team located in Parramatta in this critical Finance Business Partnering role. Focused on safeguarding the wellbeing of a large section of our community, be a part of major projects and improvements being implemented over the coming year.
**Your new role**
Working closely with the Assistant Director, key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the preparation and delivery of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting requirements for key stakeholders
- Creating budgets and key financial performance indicators for new projects
- Support stakeholders and project leads with management of budgets and financial reporting
- Financial and variance analysis - providing insights and recommendations
- Monthly, quarterly and annual budget and forecast reporting
- Advising stakeholders on any budget issues and available options
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous Finance Business Partnering or management accounting experience within a government organisation would be ideal for this role
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide solid financial advice and guidance to non-finance stakeholders
- Strong budgeting and forecasting knowledge
- Ability to use various reporting platforms and systems - Technology One a bonus
- BASELINE Security Clearance is a requirement of this role and possible additional checks related to level of role.
