The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city – providing a much‐needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.
North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We are also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.
Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

VPS 5 Senior Business Partner, People & Capability
Hybrid working environment.
Fixed term up to end of 2028 (Full‐time FTE or open to 0.8FTE). Salary range VPS 5 $116,413 – $140,849 + super & benefits.
Location: 180 Lonsdale St.
Responsibilities
* Providing coaching and strategic advice to senior leaders on key people policies and procedures including performance management, mobility and recruitment, change management, culture and engagement, wellbeing, recognition, conflict management and career development.
* Focusing on early intervention and local resolution to manage people concerns including assessment of workplace issues, negotiating, and applying appropriate action ensuring relevant legislation, industrial instruments and HR policies are interpreted and applied.
* Leading the implementation of frameworks and people initiatives that support contemporary people practices and organisational development initiatives.
* Developing strong business acumen, with the ability to use data and analytics to support evidence‐based discussions to drive people strategies and initiatives and translate these into people plans to build high‐performing teams.
* Preparing and presenting detailed reports, advice and briefings, including in‐depth analysis of trends affecting resource requirements and recommending potential solutions as well as regular and ad‐hoc reports, correspondence and other documentation relating to employment activities.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline highly desirable.
* Extensive experience in an HR generalist role with proven ability to interpret and apply legislative and policy requirements.
* Sound knowledge of HR best practice approaches, with demonstrated experience partnering with the business across all aspects of human resources including organisational change and design, workforce planning, performance, team dynamics, talent and succession, workplace relations, engagement, inclusion and leadership.
* Fixed‐term position until end of 2028.
