Hejaz Capital Pty Ltd is a leading diversified financial services company based in Melbourne, Australia. A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our company. This opportunity is being offered on a permanent full-time basis.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of Hejaz's financial products, including Mortgage Products, Auto Finance and the Salesforce interface. This knowledge must be up-to-date and applied effectively in day-to-day tasks.
- Consulting with clients to assess their financial needs and goals. Using technical expertise to recommend appropriate financial products that align with client requirements, including compliance with Islamic finance principles.
- Supporting the sales and marketing teams by providing technical insights during the development of sales strategies.
- Creating technical presentations, assisting with product documentation, and participating in sales pitches to clearly communicate product benefits to clients.
- Conducting training sessions and workshops for team members, focusing on the technical aspects of Hejaz's products including new product launches.
- Developing training materials and offering one-on-one coaching, when necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards, particularly those specific to Islamic finance.
- Staying informed about regulatory changes, interpreting these regulations for the sales team, and advising clients on compliance issues.
- Attending and representing Hejaz at various Muslim community events in Victoria and interstate.
- Preparing and providing accurate price quotations to clients, engaging in negotiations with clients to reach mutually beneficial pricing agreements, balancing company profitability with client satisfaction.
- Discussing and establishing credit terms with clients, taking into account their financial situation and history, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing sales contracts, ensuring all details align with the agreed-upon terms, including prices, product specifications, and delivery timelines.
- Compiling and analyzing sales data to generate detailed reports that track sales performance, revenue, and key metrics such as conversion rates, product demand, and customer trends.
- Creating weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to provide insights into sales activities, highlighting areas of success and identifying opportunities for improvement.
**Skills required**:
- Bachelor in Commerce or equivalent.
- A strong educational background in commerce, finance, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in financial concepts and sales strategies.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as Technical Sales Representative or similar role (i.e. Leading Specialist).
- Proven track record in a sales role within the financial services sector, demonstrating the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Experience in handling financial products, such as mortgages, auto finance, or other investment solutions.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, understandable terms for clients and colleagues.
- Familiarity with Islamic finance principles, essential for effectively addressing client needs and concerns.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
