WSP’s Building Services team in Melbourne is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established and highly collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver mechanical design across a diverse portfolio of projects, including major commercial developments, infrastructure, and emerging sectors such as data centres.
The role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of project delivery while supporting the development of junior engineers and contributing to client relationships.
You’ll be involved in:
* Leading mechanical design for HVAC and building systems
* Managing projects from concept through to delivery
* Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across Property & Buildings
* Engaging with clients and stakeholders to drive project outcomes
* Mentoring and supporting engineers within the team
About you
* Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent)
* Strong experience within building services consultancy
* Proven capability in HVAC design and relevant Australian standards
* Ability to manage projects and communicate confidently with clients
* A collaborative approach and interest in mentoring others
