Elders Insurance is one of Australia's largest regional and rural insurance services and operates an agency network distributing general insurance products to regional and rural clients.

Gunn Insurance Group T/a Elders Insurance Port Macquarie is the Elders Insurance agency where we currently have an opportunity for an Insurance Sales Support Officer.

This position offers you a development opportunity with potential for career progression with a leading Elders Insurance franchise and a competitiveremuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The role

We are looking for a new Sales Support Officer / Assistant Account Executive to add value to our already successful team. You will be trained and mentored in company practices.

Duties will include:

* Processing insurance quotations, new business, renewals, endorsements/alterations
* Office administration, telephone enquiries and credit control
* Comprehensive record of notes using CRM system Salesforce
* Providing administrative support to the team so that our clients are well supported
* Opportunities exist to be trained in other areas of the business including, portfolio management and claims management

Whilst experience in the industry would be beneficial, it is not essential. All necessary training will be provided to the successful applicant.

Ideally, you will possess the following:

* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
* Outstanding time management with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain lasting relationships with our clients and team

What we need

* Ability to obtain a satisfactory police check and ASIC clearance
* Display excellent phone etiquette with clear speech, active listening and the ability to handle calls professionally.
* Display computer literacy and accuracy with data input.
* Obtain Tier 2 accreditation in Australian Financial Services Reform Act 2001 (FSRA) Insurance (on the job support to obtain this qualification).
