Food Service Supervisor Job Description
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team. Your role will involve supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food according to our company standards.
You will estimate and order ingredients and supplies required on a weekly basis. You will also prepare food orders for customers with dietary restrictions and maintain records of stock, sales, and wastage as well as cash handling and balancing.
In addition, you will train staff in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols, as well as transfer skills to new employees. You will ensure that food and service meet corporate standards for consistency.
You will assist with food preparation and packing to help meet customer orders in a timely fashion. You will also deal with customer issues to resolve any problems that may arise.
Requirements:
* 3 years restaurant experience or 1 year restaurant supervisor experience
