Administration & Office Manager – Flexible Role (Work From Home)

Timberscope is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration & Office Manager to support our growing team. This is a diverse role that will see you manage the day-to-day administration of the business, support staffing and client projects, and ensure smooth business operations.

Timberscope is a leading wildlife management enterprise, providing ethical and effective solutions to vertebrate pest issues across Australia. We work with landholders, government, and community groups to deliver humane and sustainable outcomes that protect biodiversity, support agriculture, and conserve Australia's environment.

This role is part-time (minimum 3 days per week) and offers the flexibility to work from home, with occasional in-person meetings as required.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a highly organised and adaptable professional with strong administration and office management skills. You will be comfortable working independently, have excellent attention to detail, and enjoy supporting both business operations and client-facing activities.

Experience in payroll, scheduling, and report preparation is essential, while skills in social media management and tender preparation will be highly regarded. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied position and wants to contribute to a business making a real impact.

About the Role:

As the Administration & Office Manager, you will play a central role in keeping Timberscope's operations on track. From managing staff calendars and payroll to drafting client reports and assisting with tenders, you will ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Payroll & Staffing – process payroll accurately, maintain staff records, manage leave requests, and oversee the staffing calendar.
* Client Support – draft reports and assist with client communications and project documentation.
* Tender & Proposal Support – assist with preparation of tenders, proposals, and associated reporting.
* Office Management – general administration duties, record-keeping, enhancing and managing the filing system, ensuring efficient scheduling, prioritisation, and organisation and supporting the Director with business operations.
* Report Scheduling – management of requirements and drafting reports and maintaining policies and procedures.
* Executive Assistance - manage the Director's diary, email correspondence.
* Social Media & Communications (desirable) – support social media scheduling, content development, posting, and community engagement.
* Team Support – provide administrative support to field staff, including scheduling and resource coordination.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for someone who brings:

* Demonstrated experience in administration, office management, or similar roles.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Experience in payroll and staff scheduling.
* High attention to detail and excellent written communication skills (report drafting experience highly valued).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general business systems.
* Able to learn new systems quickly.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Experience or interest in social media management (desirable).
* Experience in tender preparation or supporting business proposals (desirable).
